Guest Compliance Charter
The SEESPORTS Guest Compliance Charter sets out the standards of conduct, responsibility, and behaviour that we expect of every guest who travels with us, whether booking from the United Kingdom or the Republic of Ireland. Our events take place in public venues, stadiums, and environments shared with other fans, the general public, event staff, and local communities. We have a duty of care to every person in our party, and we ask that every guest fulfils their own obligations in return.
Booking a SEESPORTS package constitutes acceptance of this Charter in full, regardless of the jurisdiction in which the booking was made. Failure to comply may result in cancellation of your booking, removal from the event or venue, and exclusion from future bookings, without refund.
1. Responsible Travel
1.1 Before you travel, you must check the current official travel advice for your destination. UK customers should consult the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) at gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice. Republic of Ireland customers should consult the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) at dfa.ie/travel. SEESPORTS strongly advises against travelling to any destination where the FCDO or DFA has issued an advisory against all travel or all but essential travel. Travel insurance may be invalidated if you travel against such advice.
1.2 You are responsible for ensuring that your passport is valid for the duration of your trip and, where applicable, for at least 6 months beyond your planned return date. Entry requirements vary by destination - it is your responsibility to check and meet all entry, visa, and health requirements applicable to your nationality and country of residence.
1.3 You must comply with all laws applicable to your destination throughout the duration of your trip. This includes the laws of the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, and those of any country you visit, governing behaviour, alcohol consumption, photography in restricted areas, dress codes, public health regulations, and any other rules in force at the time of travel.
1.4 SEESPORTS monitors FCDO and DFA travel advice and reserves the right to cancel or amend any tour where there is a material change to the safety or security situation at a destination. In such cases, we will act in accordance with the relevant clauses of our Booking Terms and Conditions.
2. Behaviour at Events & Venues
2.1 All guests must comply with the ground regulations, codes of conduct, and any instructions issued by venue staff, stewards, security personnel, or police at all times. SEESPORTS cannot be held responsible for the actions of venue staff, law enforcement, or any authority acting within their jurisdiction, whether in the UK, Republic of Ireland, or abroad.
2.2 The following behaviours are strictly prohibited at all times and may result in immediate ejection from the venue, police involvement, and cancellation of your booking without refund:
- Fighting, assault, threatening, or intimidating behaviour towards any person, including other guests, stewards, staff, or members of the public
- Racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, religious, or any other form of discriminatory language, gestures, or conduct
- Chanting, displaying, or promoting any content that is abusive, offensive, hateful, or discriminatory
- Pitch invasion or any attempt to enter restricted areas of the venue
- Throwing objects of any kind within the stadium or venue
- Damage to property belonging to the venue, other guests, or third parties
- Any act that endangers the physical safety of yourself or others
2.3 Any guest who displays away team colours, insignia, flags, or banners, or who provides vocal or visible support for the away team in the home supporters' section, will be ejected from the venue. This is a condition of ticket supply imposed by the event organiser and cannot be waived by SEESPORTS.
2.4 Guests must adhere to all stadium safety procedures, including those relating to emergency evacuation. Any guest who obstructs or interferes with an emergency evacuation will be reported to the relevant authorities.
3. Alcohol & Substance Policy
3.1 The consumption of alcohol is permitted at events where it is provided by the licensed venue and in accordance with venue rules. Guests must drink responsibly. SEESPORTS reserves the right to remove from any group event, excursion, or activity any guest whose level of intoxication poses a risk to their own safety or the safety and enjoyment of others.
3.2 The possession or use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited throughout the entire SEESPORTS trip, including at hotels, on transport, and at events. Any guest found to be in possession of or under the influence of illegal substances will be removed from the group and may be reported to the relevant authorities in the applicable jurisdiction. No refund will be issued.
3.3 Alcohol limits, licensing laws, and substance regulations vary between the UK, Republic of Ireland, and other countries. It is your responsibility to understand and comply with the laws of your destination. Guests travelling from or through the Republic of Ireland should also note that Irish licensing laws apply to events held in Ireland.
4. Respect for Others
4.1 SEESPORTS events bring together guests from diverse backgrounds, nationalities, and communities across the UK, Ireland, and beyond. We expect every guest to treat all other guests, SEESPORTS staff, venue staff, local residents, and members of the public with dignity and respect at all times.
4.2 Harassment of any kind - including verbal, physical, or online harassment - directed at any person connected to a SEESPORTS trip will not be tolerated. Any guest found to have engaged in harassment will be removed from the group and may be permanently excluded from future bookings.
4.3 Guests are encouraged to report any concerns about the conduct of another guest to a SEESPORTS representative as soon as possible.
5. Photography, Privacy & Social Media
5.1 You must respect the privacy of all other guests when taking photographs or recording video during the trip. Do not photograph or film other guests without their consent. This obligation applies under both UK GDPR and EU GDPR, depending on your jurisdiction.
5.2 Many stadiums and events impose restrictions on photography, particularly professional-grade cameras and recording equipment. You must comply with any restrictions communicated by the venue. SEESPORTS accepts no responsibility for items confiscated by venue staff.
5.3 Guests are asked to exercise care and responsibility when posting content on social media relating to the trip. Content that identifies, embarrasses, defames, or harasses other guests or SEESPORTS staff must not be posted. SEESPORTS reserves the right to take legal action in respect of seriously harmful online content under the applicable law of the relevant jurisdiction.
6. Health, Wellbeing & Medical Fitness
6.1 It is your responsibility to ensure you are medically fit to travel and to participate in all activities forming part of your package. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, mobility requirements, or other health considerations that may affect your trip, you must disclose these to SEESPORTS at the time of booking.
6.2 You must carry any required medication with you in appropriate quantities, in correctly labelled packaging. You are responsible for understanding the regulations governing the import and possession of medications in your destination country. Regulations may differ between the UK, Republic of Ireland, and other destinations.
6.3 SEESPORTS does not provide medical assistance or healthcare services. In a medical emergency, guests should seek immediate local assistance and notify SEESPORTS as soon as practicable. Your travel insurance should provide the primary source of support in a medical emergency abroad.
6.4 SEESPORTS reserves the right to refuse travel to, or to repatriate, any guest whose health or behaviour is considered to pose a risk to themselves or others, at the guest's own expense.
7. Environmental Responsibility
7.1 We ask all guests to be mindful of their environmental impact whilst travelling. This includes: responsible disposal of waste; respecting natural environments and protected areas; and following any environmental codes of conduct issued by venues, local authorities, or national parks.
7.2 Guests should respect local customs, traditions, and communities at their destination. This includes appropriate dress, behaviour in places of worship, and consideration of local sensitivities around photography and noise.
8. Accommodation
8.1 Guests must comply with the terms and conditions of their accommodation provider, including check-in and check-out times, noise policies, and any house rules.
8.2 Any damage caused to hotel property by a SEESPORTS guest must be reported immediately. The guest will be personally liable for the full cost of any damage, and SEESPORTS reserves the right to recover such costs on behalf of the accommodation provider.
8.3 Guests who are asked to leave accommodation by the provider due to misconduct will forfeit their booking and no refund will be issued by SEESPORTS. SEESPORTS accepts no responsibility for any costs of alternative accommodation in such circumstances.
9. Transport
9.1 Where transport is included as part of your SEESPORTS package, guests must comply with all instructions given by the driver or transport operator. Guests must not distract, harass, or threaten any driver or transport staff.
9.2 Guests who are refused transport by a provider due to intoxication, behaviour, or non-compliance with the provider's rules will be responsible for arranging and funding their own alternative transport. No refund will be issued by SEESPORTS.
9.3 Seatbelts must be worn at all times where fitted. Guests must not request that a driver exceeds the speed limit or operates a vehicle in an unsafe manner. Road traffic laws differ between Northern Ireland, Great Britain, and the Republic of Ireland - guests must be aware of and comply with the rules applicable to their location at any given time.
10. Consequences of Non-Compliance
SEESPORTS takes its duty of care to all guests, staff, and the wider public extremely seriously. This duty applies equally to all customers regardless of whether they are based in the United Kingdom or the Republic of Ireland. Where any guest is found to be in breach of this Charter, the following consequences may apply:
- Immediate removal from the event, venue, or activity
- Removal from the group trip, at the guest's own expense
- Cancellation of the booking without refund
- Permanent exclusion from future SEESPORTS bookings
- Reporting to the relevant statutory authorities, police, or venue security in the applicable jurisdiction
- Civil or criminal action under the applicable law of Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, or another relevant jurisdiction, where the conduct constitutes a criminal offence or causes financial or reputational damage to SEESPORTS or a third party
SEESPORTS will not be liable for any costs, losses, or consequences arising from a guest's failure to comply with this Charter, including the cost of alternative transport, accommodation, or repatriation.
11. Reporting a Concern
If you witness conduct by another guest that you believe is in breach of this Charter, or that places any person at risk, please report it to a SEESPORTS representative or to venue staff immediately. In the event of an emergency arising, and if appropriate to do so, contact the emergency services.
