Financial Protection
Book with confidence. SEESPORTS LTD offers 100% financial protection to all customers. In the unlikely event that SEESPORTS LTD ceases to trade, arrangements are in place for you to continue your package or to receive a full refund of all monies paid to us. This protection applies to all customers, whether you book from the United Kingdom or the Republic of Ireland.
1. Our Financial Protection Framework
SEESPORTS LTD operates in compliance with the following package travel regulations, depending on your country of residence:
United Kingdom
Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018
Customer funds held in a GBP (£) Client Trust Account operated by the Travel Trust Association (TTA).
Republic of Ireland
Package Holidays and Travel Trade Act 1995 (as amended)
Customer funds held in a Euro (€) Client Trust Account operated by the TTA, with additional Insolvency Protection through IPP.
For all packages in both jurisdictions, customer monies are held in a ring-fenced TTA Client Trust Account, entirely separate from SEESPORTS' general operating funds, and cannot be used for any other purpose.
2. Trust Account Protection
2.1 All payments made to SEESPORTS LTD are held in a secure, ring-fenced Client Trust Account operated by the Travel Trust Association. Your money is protected at all times and is used exclusively for the delivery of your booked arrangements.
2.2 UK customers (England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland): payments are held in the SEESPORTS LTD (GBP) Trust Account in pounds sterling (£), in accordance with the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018.
2.3 Republic of Ireland customers: payments are held in the SEESPORTS LTD (Euro) Trust Account in euro (€), in accordance with the Package Holidays and Travel Trade Act 1995 (as amended). Additional Insolvency Protection is also in place through International Passenger Protection Ltd (IPP) for all guests booking from Ireland.
2.4 In the event of SEESPORTS' insolvency, the TTA will facilitate either the continuation of your package arrangements or the return of all monies paid to SEESPORTS for services not yet delivered, whichever is appropriate to your circumstances.
3. Insolvency Protection Policy - Policy Summary for Passengers

If you are abroad at the time and require assistance returning to your country of departure, the claims team will arrange support services on your behalf.
7. Your Obligations During a Claim
You and your representatives must:
- Cooperate fully with Sedgwick Claims Management Services and any authorised representative in the investigation, adjustment, and settlement of your claim, including providing all requested documentation such as invoices and receipts
- Take all reasonable care to limit any further loss
- Not enter into any contract or take any action - either before or after a loss - that limits, restricts, waives, or otherwise impairs your right to recover from any party who may be liable for a loss covered under this policy, without prior written permission from the insurer
8. Insurer's Rights During a Claim
The insurer may, at its discretion:
- Take full responsibility for conducting, defending, or settling any claim in your name
- Take any action considered necessary to enforce your rights or their rights under this insurance
Where legally permitted, the insurer is entitled to request that any covered loss is first claimed from your payment card issuer or any other existing insurance policy you hold that may provide cover for such loss. If partial payment is received from those sources, this policy applies in excess of that amount. If such a recovery claim is unsuccessful in whole or in part, the insurer will deal with the remaining claim in line with the terms, conditions, exclusions, and limits of this policy.
9. Fraudulent Claims
If a fraudulent claim is made under this insurance:
- The claim will not be paid
- Any sums already paid in respect of the claim may be required to be returned
- The insurance may be treated as terminated from the time of the fraudulent act, with no cover for any subsequent relevant events and all premiums retained
This condition applies only to the individual who made or attempted to make the fraudulent claim and does not affect the cover of other insured persons on the same booking.
10. Financial Services Compensation Scheme
Liberty Mutual Insurance Europe SE UK Branch is covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). You may be entitled to compensation from the FSCS if Liberty Mutual Insurance Europe SE UK Branch is unable to meet its obligations to you under this policy. The level of compensation will depend on the nature of the insurance.
11. Sanctions
No benefit will be provided under this insurance to the extent that providing cover, paying a claim, or delivering any benefit would breach any sanction, prohibition, or restriction imposed by law or regulation. Such suspension continues until the insurer would no longer be exposed to any such sanction, prohibition, or restriction.
